Project Overview

Mile 6 West Rd. — Roadway Reconstruction

This project delivered a full-depth reconstruction of Mile 6 West Rd. between Mile 9 and Mile 11, restoring the structural integrity of a roadway that had reached the end of its service life.

After grading to reshape the profile, our crews applied cement treatment to the subgrade to stabilize the underlying soils and installed a cement-treated flexible base for long-term load capacity. The surface was then repaved with asphalt concrete.

Full-depth reconstruction is one of the most technical pavement jobs we do — and it’s the approach we take when a roadway needs to last decades, not years.
