Project Overview

FM 676 (Alton) — State Highway Improvement

This project reconstructed and widened FM 676 in Alton from a two-lane roadway into a modern 4-lane facility with a two-way left-turn lane, a critical upgrade for a corridor connecting Hidalgo County to SH 107.

The scope included comprehensive grading to re-establish the roadway profile, installation of storm sewer and drainage structures to manage runoff across a flat-lying Rio Grande Valley landscape, and construction of concrete curbs and gutters along the realigned shoulders.

Our crews executed the work without extended closures, keeping local traffic moving through Alton while delivering a safer, higher-capacity roadway for the region.
