FM 494 — Roadway Construction & Widening
FM 494 was one of our most comprehensive corridor builds in recent years: construction and widening of a non-freeway facility from SH 107 south to FM 676 (Mile 5), delivered as a single, self-performed scope.
The job included grading; storm sewer and drainage structures; concrete curb and gutter; lime-treated subgrade; flexible base; asphaltic concrete pavement; wheelchair ramps and sidewalks for ADA compliance; pavement markings; signing; and traffic signals.
